Hi, I’m Pezcado and I have an amazing idea for a Homestuck meetup.
We need to have a meetup here.
Click that link and behold the amazingness that is the St. Louis City Museum.
It has a two story slide and a four story playground.
A four story playground.
With a giant ball pit.
Not only that, but it has a variety of really cool, entertaining, and secretly educational exhibits, including the World Aquarium, a natural history room(my personal favorite, filled to the brim with all sorts of neat taxidermy and preservations!), several rooms dedicated to making your own art, and a giant model of a whale with a cave system inside(yes, you can go in it). I’ve been there before so I can vouch that this place is amazing.
I’d love for this to be a big thing, organized with at least maybe the Kentucky Homestucks and, if there’s such a thing, the St. Louis Homestucks. However, the main issue for Kentuckians and anyone else outside Missouri is transportation and probably money. So, that’s where I need help.
In order for this to happen, we need tons of planning, of course. We need to organize car pools, funds, and probably hotel costs.
First things first, though, we need ideas on how to make it all happen!
Useful Details?
- Admission for one person is $12 plus tax, except for Fridays and Saturdays when it’s $10.
- You can book in advance for groups of 15 or more, lowering admission to $8 per person.
- The rooftop and the World Aquarium aren’t included in the ticket price, and they’re $5 and $6 to get into, respectively.
- It’d probably be more convenient for a lot of peopleif we went during summer, not to mention the roof is open then.
- Anyone under 16 has to be accompanied by an adult(18+), although that’s more enforced with little kids, it still sort of applies to 13-15 year olds. For groups, there’s a chaperone rule of one adult for every six minors.
I really suck at organizing big things, so any kind of help would be useful! Also, I really don’t want to go about this alone, so yeah. Can we please try to make this happen? I swear that it’ll awesome.
